Our Services


The Tutoring Place, LLC offers parental choice of tutoring. We offer in-home tutoring by providing one-on-one instruction in the comfort and convenience of the student's home. We offer on-line tutoring or small group tutoring right after-school. Students are pre-tested to determine exactly what subject areas in which they need tutoring assistance. The Tutoring Place, LLC focuses on working with children in math and the language arts. Since our inception, our students improved an average of six months in grade level competency by completing 20-25 sessions tutoring. Over 90% of students report higher grades and improved school attendance. This is achieved by providing all students with Pre & Post Testing, Individualized Learning Plans, Tutoring material aligned to the OAT and Bi-weekly Progress Reports.


AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING

Students will meet immediately after-school with a tutor.
Tutoring will be in small groups (1 teacher to 5 students)
Snack provided daily.

ONLINE TUTORING

All that is needed is a computer with Internet access.
Students begin with a pre-test. Based on the test, a list of self-paced lessons is
prescribed according to identified deficiencies.
Help is provided via online tutor.

IN-HOME TUTORING

We come to your home or local library.
Flexible hours after school and weekends.
Tutors are local teachers or degreed professionals.
